Yahoo continued to feature bienfaisance.org on its small
business website for the months of June, July and August
2005. It is great exposure and advertizning for Fondation
Bienfaisance
NEW DEVELOPMENTS
June 2005 and July 2005 have been challenging and
decisive months for Fondation Bienfaisance.
In Port-au-Prince, efforts were multiplied to comply with
Haitian government requirements for the NGO status. We
are in the process of submitting the requisite
documentations to the Department of Planning (Ministère
de la Planification).
Meanwhile in the United States, Fondation Bienfaisance,
Inc. incorporated in Florida, as of July 5, 2005. The
corporation document number is N05000006862. The
Board of Directors of Fondation Bienfaisance, Inc. were
elected on Friday July 15, 2004 during the First Meeting of
the corporation. The information will soon be published on
the website.
In addition, the IRS issued a Federal Identification
Employer number (FEI) and a business account was set up
with Washington Mutual Bank in Miami, Florida. Therefore
donations may be made payable directly to:
Fondation Bienfaisance, Inc.
Furthermore, Fondation Bienfaisance, Inc, has retained
the services of Legalfillings, Inc., a consulting firm in
Woodland Hills, California to work on the 501 (c) 3,
tax-exempt status for the organization.
